AERIAL FUTURES is a non-profit organization exploring innovation in the architecture of flight, technology, and the broader mobility ecosystem.
As laboratories for urban design, airports and aviation infrastructure serve as test beds for what’s possible in their interaction with cities, local and global culture, and the broader mobility ecosystem. Becoming a non-profit organization in 2017, Aerial Futures convenes salons and symposia that unpack future trends in mobility. While the theme of every event is universal, they are anchored into place to tell a compelling story that sparks in-person and interdisciplinary conversations amongst leading thinkers.

MWZ: How can drones be used for humanitarian purposes in overcoming mobility infrastructure deficits in East Africa?
DEN: What is the contemporary airport’s new role in playing real estate developer and urban planner?
